          | Over the summer months Rafferty's
walking turned into running. We had a visit from Jo & Annabelle
Groombridge and many sunny afternoons in the paddling pool. Whitstable
is only a few miles away, so there were plenty of trips to the seaside
as well. Vanessa's dad Eddie celebrated his 60th birthday in fine
style, and Raffy certainly enjoyed himself at that party - lots of
attention! Back teeth came through without causing too much of a fuss,
and he now seems to understand everything you say to him. | | Please note that in order to present

          | On a summer afternoon in our kitchen, Raffy learnt to control the
stereo and enjoyed being a DJ.
 | | Jo & Annabelle Groombridge popped back from Portugal for a short
visit. We drove to Jo's family home in Surrey to meet up.

          | Raffy got a nice new paddling pool for his birthday - here is one
of the first times he had a go in it.

house. This was at Emily's birthday party.

          | Eddie's 60th birthday party (which he shared with his friend John
Wild) took the form of a large garden party. From the left: Andi,
