February 2002 :  7 to 8 months   Download times...
Not quite as many social occasions this month, but still a busy time for our lad. February saw Rafferty learn to crawl forward, and once he had the idea there was no stopping him. He also began to pull himself up to standing by climbing up any handy object. He started to say a few syllables towards the end of the month - 'Goo goo' and 'Buh buh' etc. We're trying to get him to say 'Dada' and 'Mama' but I'm sure he'll do that when he feels like it. In February, Rafferty learned to stand up, as long as he had something to hold on to. He can crawl at quite a pace now, as well.
   The family at Howlett's zoo in Bekesbourne.
A family outing to Howlett's wild animal park in Bekesbourne, about 2 miles from our house. Raffy got to see the elephants and fierce tigers...
