Vickie and Richard's Wedding   Download times...
My sister Vickie married Richard Gooding on the 8th May 2004 in a wonderful country pub in Wiltshire. All the family got together for the event and we all had a wonderful time together over the weekend. Vickie asked me to do the photography for her - which made the day a little more stressful but very rewarding, and I was pleased to get some good shots for her. The civil ceremony was followed by and excellent Indian feast at the reception and Vickie's excellent wedding cake that she made herself. A relaxed and riotous evening party followed with plenty of merriment and a few games of skittles. The event was made all the more poignant by the knowledge that Vickie and Richard will be emigrating to Australia in 2005.   Please note that in order to present large, high-quality pictures, this page may take almost a minute to download completely. The first few pictures will be visible quickly, but please have patience with the rest!

Vickie and one of her friends put the finishing touches to the wedding cake, which Vickie made herself - it was essentially a very large Jaffa Cake and was absolutely delicious.

Meanwhile, work continues on that wonderful cake. We liked it so much we asked Vickie to make another one for Monty's christening!
