| On the 5th April a friend of mine from work, Gustav Strandvik, held a LAN party at his
house in Canterbury (while his extremely tolerant wife Brenda went out for the day!). Ten of us - a motley collection
of medics and paramedics - pitched up with our PCs at about 9am and set up a network before getting down to a few good
games of Half-Life. Later that day we moved on to Counter-Strike, and after only a few network hiccups we had some great
games with that as well. Gustav hopes to hold another event in the next few months... |
