Vanessa in a boat.
On the boat as we travelled to Tanjung Benoa.  Vanessa found that morning sickness and seasickness do not make a particularly pleasant combination!

Dan jetskiing.
Dan managed to get in a bit of jetskiing while we were at Tanjung Benoa for the day.  The photograph doesn't do this justice, as I was going really fast. Honest.
  Dan getting off jetski.
Balinese bloke tells Dan off for coming too close to the beach on his jetski.  But how else was I going to show off to Vanessa?

Town centre of Kuta.
We visited Kuta for lunch one day, towards the end of our holiday.  Kuta is the Australian version of Costa del Sol - and as you can see comes complete with Dunkin' Donuts, Pizza Hut and a number of sumo wrestling bars. After getting a good dose of Bali belly from eating in one of the dodgier local restaurants in Nusa Dua, I wasn't at all fussy, and Pizza Hut suited us both very nicely.

Horses and carts in Kuta.
Horses and carts lined up near the tourist centre of Kuta.  It was amazing, but every single one of them had a special price, just for us, and they all kindly informed us of this as we walked past.

God statue in Kuta.
Vanessa found that the early stages of pregnancy really weren't suiting her at all.
  Surf rescue building in Kuta.
The Surf Rescue building on Kuta Beach - sort of Baywatch with pointy bits at the corners!
