On the boat as we travelled to Tanjung Benoa. Vanessa found that morning sickness and seasickness do not make a
particularly pleasant combination! |

Dan managed to get in a bit of jetskiing while we were at Tanjung Benoa for the day. The photograph doesn't do this
justice, as I was going really fast. Honest. |

Balinese bloke tells Dan off for coming too close to the beach on his jetski. But how else was I going to show off
to Vanessa? |

We visited Kuta for lunch one day, towards the end of our holiday. Kuta is the Australian version of Costa
del Sol - and as you can see comes complete with Dunkin' Donuts, Pizza Hut and a number of sumo wrestling bars. After
getting a good dose of Bali belly from eating in one of the dodgier local restaurants in Nusa Dua, I wasn't at all
fussy, and Pizza Hut suited us both very nicely. |

Horses and carts lined up near the tourist centre of Kuta. It was amazing, but every single one of them had
a special price, just for us, and they all kindly informed us of this as we walked past. |

Vanessa found that the early stages of pregnancy really weren't suiting her at all. |

The Surf Rescue building on Kuta Beach - sort of Baywatch with pointy bits at the corners! |
