Rafferty's day out to Farm World in Faversham...   Download times...
In March, Vanessa & I took two weeks of annual leave to relax and spend some extra time with Rafferty. One of the outings we arranged was a trip to Farm World in Faversham, only a few miles away from us. Raffy had a wonderful time seeing all the animals - and particularly liked the goats and the sheep. There were even some little piglets and mummy said they made a noise like daddy does when he is asleep.   Please note that in order to present large, high-quality pictures, this page may take almost a minute to download completely. The first few pictures will be visible quickly, but please have patience with the rest!

Raffy tries out one of the rides...
Once we got to the park, Vanessa tried Raffy on one of the childrens' rides. He seemed to enjoy it but hadn't quite got the idea.
  A big shire horse.
Looking at one of the huge shire horses on the farm. We spent ages trying to get a picture of this beast with Raffy stroking its nose, but Dobbin here wasn't playing.

A serious young man in his pushchair.
A serious young man in his pushchair. I always think this hat makes him look like one of the kids from South Park. "Oh no, they killed Kenny. You bastard!" etc.

The big billygoat's gonna get ya!
We went to see the goats, who were very friendly. In fact this big white billygoat was very friendly indeed, and Vanessa had to jump out of the way!
  Billygoat gruff...
Raffy thought this was all hilarious...
