On Boxing Day morning we all went for a walk to Fordwich. Again it was cold and frosty so everyone wrapped up warm.

Vanessa, Tara and the boys.

Some frost-covered leaves on the ground in Fordwich.

In open frosty fields along the riverside - there's a footpath here that runs all the way into Canterbury.

Frosty grasses in the light of the rising sun.

Tara brought some materials to make a plaster cast of Raffy's foot. He was very good and sat very still.

Tara spreads the cold alginate over his foot - this will set quickly and take the impression.

Raffy wiggles his hands - we told him to do this in case he felt like moving his feet, so he could let the 'wiggles' out.

Raffy's foot with the alginate layer surrounded by plaster of paris to reinforce it.

The cast is off and ready to be filled with more plaster to make the model of Raffy's foot.

Tara gently peels the cast off Raffy's foot.
