| Rafferty had his second birthday party, once again held in our back garden. The weather
was beautiful and the lawn filled with our family, friends and the laughter of herds of small children. Luckily I had
hired a bouncy castle which kept them all amused while the grown-ups managed to drink a little wine and relax. Vanessa
was very heavily pregnant at this stage, because Monty would arrive less than a week after this party. We had two new
faces as well in that Ruth & Nathan had just had their daughter Juliet, and Michelle's son Alex had just been born. |

A hot summer's day in our back garden was the setting for Rafferty's 2nd birthday party - just a few days before his brother
Monty was due to be born. We had a lovely barbeque, a bouncy castle, and lots of family and friends to share it with.
